Idaho

We drove Dad and Hattie up to Idaho Falls and then continued on to St. Anthony to see Eli and Tiff. We had so much fun there relaxing and letting the kids play. They loved this lake at the sand dunes that was shallow the whole way across.

The kids found these sand crab things and kept putting them in the buckets, Luke even caught a few tadpoles.
Another find! Sunday we all went over to Grandma Bette's. Thankfully the weather cooperated and the kids were able to play in the back yard.

A few sang and a few played, it was really fun.
Summer isn't complete without some watermelon!
I think it is so appropriate that there is that book in the background, because you know Grandma IS an angel. Really.
Making faces
Buckled up and ready to go.

Gone By So Fast part 2

I just LOVE this picture...Love, love, love!
Bath time
Grace loves to pose!

Gone By So Fast

Wow I can't believe June is over! We have been busy and enjoying family, here and there. First Dad and Hattie, my half-sister, came to visit on the 13th of June. Then we celebrated Dad's birthday the next day.

Of course Dad is taking pictures like a mad man, that is what he does. So we have been getting some great shots of the kids.

Finally, a real smile on camera! She is so full of different faces, it is hard to catch her smiling at just the right time. Aunt Hattie took this one.

We are already having a fun summer, starting with Kyle and Kim's wedding. Congratulations you two! It was so awsome to see them get sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, we are so happy for them. Kim and Kyle
The day before after the luncheon at Sugar House Park. This was BEFORE Liam fell completely in the water and Luke said "Liam was a floating hat". Thank goodness Grandma Pam was quick on her feet and pulled him out by one leg....no harm done, thank heavens!
Grandma and the two kids who still love to take pictures.
I made this sign for Luke to bust through after the last day of school, it says Welcome to Summer. It wasn't as cool as I hoped he would think it was, but hopefully it will become a fun tradition.

6 Stitches

Well Grace managed to crash on her bike already, we were 2 days into summer and already a visit to the ER. She was biking with Adam and went off the sidewalk and onto some rocks. At least when you are bleeding you get in to the ER quick, they take you right back. Those of you who know Grace well know that she did not go down without a fight, she screamed bloody murder right up until they started stitching and it took 2 nurses to get her off of me, she was on so tight. The one nurse even said "She's strong!" I think it was a miracle that she held still but I must also say we said a prayer right before and I really think it made her calm down. Of course she was proud as ever afterwards to show off her stitches to everyone, especially Luke and his friends. They thought it was pretty gross and cool at the same time. I am hoping it doesn't scar too bad, we are going back in a few days to get the stitches out and use butterfly bandages so it won't look so bad.
