Busy July
Okay....so we have been very busy this month. One of the fun things we did recently was go to Danielle and Jordan's wedding where Grace was the flower girl. The video is at the end, I can't believe she actually did it, I am so proud of her. The wedding was really fun and we wish them the best and safety for Jordan. He is a Marine and is being deployed to Afghanistan.

The beautiful cake that Aunt Sharon made....it was delicious too!
The kids looking "scared" at the wedding.

The latest and greatest family picture. Thanks Mom!
2009 Cakes
Every year I make special cakes for the kids, it's only your birthday once a year you know. This year we did a big family birthday party where we celebrated 6 birthdays at once. It is always a blast to have family over. Of course the dump truck cake was the easiest to make and the most popular. Yummy with Cool Whip on top! I will definitely make it again, maybe in a sand bucket next time.
Happy Birthday to....Everyone! Well that's what it feels like.
Happy Birthday to...Liam, Seth, Kim, Julie, James, Adam & Grace! We sure do have a lot of July birthdays around here. It has been hard to keep up. Here are some birthday shots...

Hawkmon Lankford
So Princess caught a bird and it was still alive in the garage. It looked okay except for it's wing had a little blood on it, so we put it in a box and tried to take care of it. It lasted about a day and then I called Animal Control since we couldn't get it to eat anything. The poor thing must have been in shock and probably bleeding internally or something, because later on in the day it went to bird heaven. The kids really don't understand death yet, they were a little sad but had great fun making the burial grounds and decorating them. I guess this is the first of our pet cemetary.
It says RIP Hawkmon Lankford (Luke named the bird after a Pokemon - shocker, I know). Goodbye Hawkmon, it was good knowing you for a day.
