I am Cinderella! Ha ha.

I got this off Brooke's blog - I love how it says that I am patient...NOT!! I guess it is something to strive for though, right?

Breaking Dawn

If you didn't know, I am so excited for the new Stephenie Meyer book, Breaking Dawn, to come out. Once I saw this background I had to have it, at least until Saturday when the book comes out. It is the last book in the Twilight series, and I can't wait. Along with about a million other people. I promised Aunt Sharon first dibs after I'm done, then my neighbor, but if anyone wants to borrow it when they're done, let me know.

Family Party

Shots from the family party...

Grace holding her new cup from Aunt Peggy and kids

Liam and his bat.

Grace and Kim about to blow out the candles - I think Kim was turning away so that Grace could blow out all the candles...that's the best part you know.

Liam right after his 2 broke in half and fell over, he managed to blow the candle out first I think. One of the best parts of this picture I think is the expression on Adam's face in the background.

Adam, Grace and Seth

Cakes!

One of the things I LOVE to do for the kids every year on their birthday is make them a fun cake. It takes some time, but I figure it's only once a year, and I really do enjoy doing it. This year Adam and Kim (Kyle's girlfriend) got a cake too. So there was lots to choose from at the family party!

Crown Cake - for Grace's friend party.

Construction Cake for Liam

iPod cake for Adam - you can't see the ear plugs very well on the side but that was my favorite part.

Sunflower Cake for Grace and Kim - I didn't get a very good shot of it but it was a big hit.

Princess Party

Well as you can see I have been slacking on the posts, it has been a crazy couple of weeks since we have been back from Idaho. So when I get time I do a ton of posts. It's either all or nothing with me. We had a busy weekend also with Grace's friend party and then a family party on Sunday to celebrate Liam, Adam, Grace and Kim's birthday.

Princess Grace

Princess Grace and friends.....thank goodness it's all over now! No more princess parties for two years. (The kids only get a friend party every other year, it's just too expensive and Exhausting....that's right, with a capital E.) Happy Birthday Grace!

Hello Mama Kitty!

Last night I was taking the trash out...yes that's right I was taking the trash out when I heard a little mewing sound and low and behold Princess was having her kittens. She had already had 3 and then Adam and I watched her have the other 3. So now we have 6 kittens that look like little rats but they are still cute. It is amazing that cats just know what to do when they have kittens. Princess is doing a great job. We are going to keep one of the kittens, so that leaves 5. Anyone up for a kitten in 8 weeks? (Princess is an outside cat so the kittens will be also - I am allergic. But she is a great mouser so if you have mice....)

Happy Birthday Grace!

Happy Birthday Grace! It must say something about her personality that I had a hard time finding a picture of her standing still. She is full of sweetness and sass, and we love her oh so very much. She gets her very own friends party this year and she is so excited. We love you Grace.

Happy Birthday Adam!

Happy Birthday to Adam! The big 35. Technically it was Sunday, and we celebrated on Saturday night, but I just want to say how awesome he is. He is the MOST patient person I know, especially compared to me. He is funny and loving and a wonderful father too. And he even sometimes goes on deep cleaning sprees, so how can you not love that?
WE LOVE YOU!!!

Me and Adam at the Police concert. Okay so this picture is in the car before the concert because I wasn't sure if I could take my camera in (turns out I could have). It was so fun and a great way to celebrate his birthday. They rocked!!!

Sting is on the left with the guitar. These were the best seats we have had so far for any concert that we've gone to. It was awesome!

Random Pictures from Boise

Luke painting Grace's toenails...she looks a little worried.

Liam says he is 2! while holding up his fingers.

A popular vacation activity...vegging out watching TV.

Is that you, Professor Liam?

And last but certainly not least, Adam's idea of vacation at my mom's house...actually getting to read a book.

Idaho Party for Liam and Grace

Sunday we had a birthday party for Grace and Liam. We got out the pool (same pool from before, different house) and Liam, Grace and Emma played with the dogs tennis balls. Sometimes the simplest things can entertain kids for the longest time.

Wet saggy pants

Grace with her book from Grandma Jean & Grandpa Bud

Shanna, Great Grandma Wanda and Liam with one of his books.

Grace got Polly Pockets from Aunt Sue and Uncle Rex, of course 10 minutes later we couldn't find one of the skirts but she still loves them.

Blowin' out the candles

Liam loves frosting....you will see the effects of it later...

Beautiful Grace is turning 4!

The frosting kicks in...Liam was trying to french kiss Grandma.

More after effects of frosting....Grace thought this was hilarious.

The Box of Toys That Saved Us

Saturday we went to my 2nd counsin's wedding reception. Okay so I do not know her but our moms are cousins so there you go. The kids did pretty good, we tried to stay upstairs and out of the way. There were jelly beans and chocolate in the treat bags on the tables so the kids were loving it. And we found a room with a box of toys in it - BONUS!!! Thank you whoever decided to put that in there....I think it saved us.

Grandpa Keith and Liam

Mom and Grace

Liam gets caught sneaking more chocolate under the table. He must be related to me....

Luke's First Tooth Falls Out

We were in WalMart when Luke's first tooth came out. I think I could write a country song about it....anyway, it was fairly loose and there was a tooth coming in behind it so I told him when we got back he would have to go to the dentist to get the tooth pulled if it didn't come in soon. Pretty soon I look over and he is holding the bloody tooth in his hand. He is so proud of himself and thinks it is cool that he has a lisp when he says his "s" sound. Our little boy is growing up!

Fun Fun Fun Park

After we got back from camping we spent a morning with Emily and her family before they headed off for a vacation too! We went to this really cool park where there is huge play equipment, tons of swings, gigantic fake rocks to climb on, outdoor musical equipment and water that shoots out of the pavement. It was a little windy so only Grace and Emily's kids were brave enough to do the water, but the other kids had fun too.

Grace and Julianne share a sucker - it was the only one and we looked over and they were sharing....how sweet....and germy!

A Vacation While We're on Vacation

While we were up in Idaho, the kids and I went camping with Grandma Pam. We went up to Pine, Idaho to Dog Creek. I guess I should say we took Mom and Keith's new puppy, Sam with us. It WAS Dog Creek, after all. We had a lot of fun and got really dirty.

About ten minutes after we arrived, the kids already looked like this...

Of course it couldn't be hard packed dirt, but dusty, stick to everything dirt. Which the kids loved.

Liam on the trailer hitch, he was having a great time.

Mom and Sam

Wednesday we were so hot - we were the toast and the camper was the toaster. There was no shade in our campspot so we got on our swimsuits and went down to the reservoir. The kids had a blast, even Grandma dunked herself in - not the hair of course.

Luke playing with the "Drown Your Campfire" buckets he got from the campground host. Who might I say was a walking time bomb...he was on oxygen and had a pack of cigarettes in his pocket. I was waiting to hear a big BOOM in the middle of the night, but alas, all I heard was Liam screaming and the sound of Grace peeing on the camper floor. Really.

Blue lips (Bubblegum SnoCone)

Red lips (Strawberry SnoCone)

So I think this part shows off my kids' creativity. As we were loading up to leave, Grace and Luke started gathering twigs and sticks and managed to build this "dinosaur fossil" they called Phorasaurus.

Then Luke built this Stegasaurus. It was really amazing because they included everything, even bark "skin" and it really did look like a dinosaur fossil, especially the Phorasaurus.

Grace sitting next to the "skin" before they put it on.

Camping was a blast, but we were sure glad to go back to Grandma's and take a shower and sleep in real beds!
