Claire absolutely LOVES Luke and Grace, she is still a little wary of Liam, for good reason. Anyway, I love it when I find one of them playing with her. It is such a good feeling when your kids are getting along. Okay BLINK...now back to reality.

I didn't even think you could put this many flowers in Claire's hair, being that she barely has any hair...but Grace managed. And Claire loved every second of it.

Luke made these turkeys at school so for Thanksgiving at Grandma Pam and Grandpa Keith's we decided to go for it. Of course since they were made out of chocolate cookies, chocolate frosting, mini reese's peanut butter cups and candy corn it was a MUST. We had so much fun going to Boise for Thanksgiving this year. It is always great to be around family during the holidays. Thanks for putting up with our circus!
With the invention of biodegradable packing peanuts comes the latest and greatest craft for kids! I discovered through my preschool curriculum if you get the ends of these babies wet they stick together and make fun sculptures. The kids sat for hours and played with these, making temples and Pokemon and having a contest to see who could make the longest tower. Love it!
Adam got a pair of tickets to the Utah v. New Mexico game last Saturday. Neither Luke or Grace wanted to go but Liam was dying to go, so Adam gave in a took him. I guess he did pretty good, we bundled him up really warm and off they went. What a fun daddy son experience for them both. And Utah trounced New Mexico so it all had a great ending.

Claire was interested in everything everyone was doing, she was grabbing stuff left and right. She even managed to get some pumpkin slime in her fist and was sucking on it before anyone noticed. You could tell she wanted to help, we had to move everything out of her way.
I guess I'll settle for this stem if I HAVE to...

Right before they headed out Aunt Dianna read them a Halloween book. You would think it was very scary by the looks on their faces, in fact it was a board book meant for toddlers. It put them in the mood! They came back with tons of candy. Thank goodness for the candy store. The kids paid me in candy for some dollar store toys I bought. A good deal, if you ask me. The only bad part is now I have all their candy and I can't stop eating it! What to do with it? I feel bad throwing it away but that might be my only way to quit.....
Saturday was Luke's big day! We had lots of friends and family come, some from far away, which was really wonderful to see all the support that Luke has. It was so special to see my little (BIG now) boy getting baptized and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost from his dad. I am so happy that Adam has the Priesthood and can give this gift to Luke. It was a wonderful day. Afterwards we had a family birthday party for Luke back at our house. Lots of yummy food, presents, football and singing. We sang a couple songs to Luke where I of course got very emotional. We just love him so much, he is such an amazing boy. We love you Luke! 
Yesterday was crazy hair day at Luke and Grace's school. Luke usually has not wanted to participate, he is not into having crazy hair. This year he explored his wild side a little, he let me spray blue spray on his perfectly combed hair. Grace was all for it, the girls usually can do crazier things with their hair anyway. I didn't get a picture of Luke but Grace of course was happy to pose.
There is a great trail by the temple that always has beautiful leaves. Last year we took a picture there, but baby Claire had not arrived yet. The new picture on the top of the blog is from this year, and here are a few of the kids. You should see all the ones of Liam, I can't get him to hold still, it's either this or the totally cheesy grin/grimace. This was the best one of him that I could find!

With a little tear in my eye I sent Luke off to Cub Scouts for his first adventure. He is getting so big. Tomorrow is his big birthday, 8 years old! I can't believe it. I remember cinder block walls in Logan and him being just a tiny baby. He is really growing up. And he looks so handsome in his new uniform!
I love it when the kids play together and don't fight.
I don't like the mess.

Conference weekend was wonderful. We loved the talks and spent lots of time with the kids. They love the "Conference Bucket" and like to play Legos and blocks and puzzles while we watch. Thank goodness for the closed captioning...we wouldn't be able to know what they were saying half the time if it weren't for that. Love modern technology!
