Summer Update

Okay MOM!!! My mom has been "bugging' as I would say, for more pictures.  She is right, I have been slacking.  So I am now going to be up to date.  At least for today. :) Here is our summer so far, what I have taken pictures of anyway...

Liam finishes his 2nd year of soccer.

Liam actually took this picture...a photographer in the making!

Daddy Daughter Dance

In February Adam and Grace went to the Daddy Daughter Dance up at the clubhouse. Grace was so excited, she got to wear some of my earrings and we did her hair up in a "princess" updo. She was in heaven, making crafts and having refreshments and dancing with her dad. We are all so lucky to have Adam in our lives!!! What a cute couple!

Happy Birthday Claire!

We celebrated Claire's 3rd birthday on Sunday, she has been talking about her "Minnie Cake" for over 2 months now, ever since Kayla got her cake January. So she was super excited. She is growing up so fast, I can't believe my baby is 3!

Totally rocked it on this gift - she is a swimsuit girl and I saw this at Costco - THANK YOU Costco! Now I just have to peel it off her at the end of everyday and wash it.

Thank you so much to Marcia Ferrin in our ward who made Claire's awesome cake. It turned out so cute, AND it was DELICIOUS!

Updates

I keep thinking I am going to go back and post about everything that has happened in the last few months...but I don't really have any pictures. I have been super lame about that. We have been busy with school.

Luke - started and recently stopped karate. Got his yellow belt. Competed in the First Lego League, his team got 8th out of 19th, it was their first time competing. The top 7 went to state so they were bummed. Is still studying for the Knowledge Bowl competition at school, for which I help coach. Luke's teacher says he is on at least a 7th grade reading level.
Grace- taking piano lessons, doing great at reading. She loves math but is having a hard time with coins. She is really into crafts and loves to wear makeup - only at home, Mom says.
Liam- is ready to start soccer again in the spring. Is getting over an ear infection, loves Wild Kratts on PBS and Dinosaur Train. Has been super sneaky breaking into Luke's room and taking his Silly Putty and Legos.
Claire- still obsessed with Minnie Mouse, is now obsessed with Micky Mouse Clubhouse on Disney. I just cut her some bangs which Adam hates. He says she looks like Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music. Oh well it's just hair. Has been unrolling all the toilet paper while she goes to the bathroom. At least she is going to the bathroom.
Me- Reading up a storm, trying to exercise more, eat more veggies. Got a nasty case of bronchitis which I am still getting over. Still have a croaky voice, I think I did something funky to my vocal chords with all the coughing.
Adam- practicing this Michael Jackson song on the guitar that he learned to play on YouTube, it's pretty awesome. Working, working and more working. Teaching a class at BYU, listening to the Hunger Games on his way to work, quoting it when we get home. I have convinced him to listen to it because I have read the trilogy and want to go see the movie when it comes out.
Scout - got fixed, no more humping as far as we can tell. We hated the cone of shame but it was worth it.
Spook - keeps losing his collar so I have given up for now.
The hermit crabs and fish are still alive, thanks to me.
That's about it. We got a new iMac so I am super excited, hopefully I will be able to post pictures easier than on our old PC. I hope to keep updating this blog, life has just been super busy. Ta ta!
