So every year we go down to Payson to Onion Days and watch the big parade on Monday and go to the carnival/fair afterwards. This year we spent the night down there on Sunday and then were going to go to the parade the next morning. Well, of course Monday the high was only supposed to be 67 and it was supposed to rain and all that good stuff. It wasn't actually raining when we got to the parade, the weather looked like it was going to cooperate. We watched about 10 minutes of the parade when it slowly started raining - we did have one of those big umbrellas so we thought, we'll be okay. Then it started pouring. And pouring. And the wind actually picked up Julie's big stand umbrella and flew it aways away and it was insane. We had parked around the block so we were going to get drenched either way. We decided to make a run for it. We made it back to the car and we were soaked. I mean, like we had been standing in the shower soaked. So, we didn't get to see the parade, (the poor beauty queens) but thankfully later in the day the weather was beautiful and we did make it to the carnival.
Which brings me to my next subject.... see above.
